Understand your lab report, privately, on your own phone.

What Lab Compass does

Your lab report, explained in plain language.

Lab reports are full of abbreviations, units and ranges. Lab Compass helps you read yours carefully, without guessing and without treating a number as a diagnosis.

01

Scan or import

Take a photo, choose up to 6 photos, import a PDF of up to 10 pages, or use the iPhone document scanner. Typed and scanned PDFs both work.

02

You check every value

Each result appears beside the original line from your report. Correct anything that was misread. Only results you confirm are explained.

03

Nothing is invented

If a unit, reference range or collection date is missing, Lab Compass leaves it blank and asks you, instead of filling it in.

04

Clear explanations

What each test measures, how your value compares with the range printed on your report, related organs and body systems, common influences, and questions for your clinician.

05

Private by design

Text reading happens on your phone. No account, no uploads, no ads and no tracking. Clear everything with one tap.

06

Save or share a PDF

Create a clear PDF report to keep or bring to your next appointment, only when you choose.

Supported tests

Our approach

Built for understanding. Designed with responsibility.

A result outside a reference range is a flag, not a diagnosis. Lab Compass keeps the measurement, the flag, possible explanations and diagnosis clearly separate. It draws on public health-education sources such as MedlinePlus and the U.S. National Institutes of Health, and encourages you to discuss your results with a qualified healthcare professional.
